While the band itself may not embrace it, the term "emo power-violence" sums up the mystery screamo supergroup's hyped debut pretty well. Sonically channeling '90s emo-power-violence branch-offs Orchid and Reversal of Man, U.N.'s politically-driven, venomous lyrics foam from (Thursday) vocalist Geoff Rickley's mouth, while the heavily speculated involvement of Glassjaw, Converge, Made Out of Babies and the Number 12 Looks Like You members is all but confirmed in the manic, guttural screams, sawing guitars and calculated rhythm sections of tracks like "No Sympathy For a Sinking Ship" and "My Cold War."
