U.O.'s deadpan cover of "You'll Be a Woman Soon" put them on the map after it appeared in Pulp Fiction two years after this came out. But plenty of folks were anxiously awaiting the arrival of Stull when it appeared in 1992, on the heels of U.O.'s almost-masterpiece Supersonic Storybook. The dangerously smug door they opened by covering Hot Chocolate on that album is kicked down here by their choice to open with (and nail) the aforementioned Neil Diamond cover. Any question of their intentions (why all the jokiness?) is forgiven by the winding, late-nite driver of a title cut.
