Biography
Prolific songwriter, author, and bandleader Chris Leo (brother of indie luminary Ted Leo) fronted a handful of influential, if marginally popular, underground acts through the '90s and started performing as Vague Angels late in the decade. Initially a collective of musicians that recorded music inspired from Leo's first novel, they eventually became solidified a lineup that included guitarist/keyboardist Gary Keating, drummer Patrick Brennan, and songwriter Young-Ah Kim. Let's Duke It Out at Kilkenny Katz, was issued on Pretty Activity Records in spring 2006, appearing at the same time as Leo's second book.
