Eminem Presents The Re-Up (Exclusive, Explicit)
Various Artists
Released:
Dec 2006
Label:
Shady Records
You're supposed to be interested in the latest crop of up-and-coming rappers on Eminem's Shady label. After all, this is a label that features Cashis (promising), Bobby Creekwater (boring) and Swifty McVay (poorly named). But let's be honest: most of you will be checking for the seven new tracks featuring the one-time great white hope. "Public Enemy #1" is a vaguely political martyr fantasy that tries to blend 2Pac's paranoia with Chuck D's agitprop, while "Jimmy Crack Corn" is all zany wordplay and goofy meta-rap and features one-time up-and-comer 50 Cent.
