Here, such heavyweights as Stan Getz, Sarah Vaughan and Sonny Rollins send jazz valentines to a city that has more heart than all of heartland America. Verve went with the wrong version of Cole Porter's brilliant "Down in the Depths," but true love can't really be blind without an imperfection to overlook.
