Josh Wink's Ovum label has been at the forefront of American house and techno since 1994. That's an eternity in clubland, but the label's roundup of its biggest cuts during the Ibiza summer season proves that age hasn't dulled its sensibilities. To be sure, cuts from MANIK and Nico Lahs are slower and more chilled than many kids may appreciate, but KiNK, Shlomi Aber and Gregor Tresher provide the kind of peak-time tech house that never goes out of style, while Wink's "Superfreak" tweaks the same synapses as his '95 hit "Don't Laugh."
