For serious Specials fans, this three-disc set breaks up the band's A-side singles, B-sides and rarities onto separate discs. Are the short-lived Specials really worth that much attention? Stereo-Typical splits the answer to that between a resounding "yes!" and a "well, sure, if you've got the time." It's impossible to quibble with the first disc of remastered Specials classics. The second disc is good fun and falls more toward retro ska dance music, reggae and radio edits. The third disc offers up a few worthy rarities and remixes but repeats too often.
