Christmas isn't always relaxing -- family dramas play out over the cooling corpse of some poor dead animal while 40-year-olds suddenly find themselves (yet again) the hectored little sibling. But if anything can soothe wounded nerves, it's reggae -- specifically, the untrammeled cool of Trojan Records recording artists. Sure, there are a few heavily synthesized sleighs filled with schmaltzy vocals, but the bulk of this three-disc bonanza gives this chilly holiday a respectable dusting of Caribbean cool.
