For the Faint guitarist Dapose, metal is an alter ego named Vverevvolf Grehv. The first track on his debut album Zombie Aesthetics, "Emancipation of Dissonance," pretty much says it all. The electronic madness that ensues is structurally unstructured and as discordant as it is visceral. Foreboding vocals, shredding guitars, rapid-fire drum machines and arcade-game effects reverberate chaotically to create atonally intense electro-metal.
