Produced by New Yorker Dre Skull, Kingston Story is the dawning of a new age in dancehall music. Vybz Kartel may have made headlines for his skin bleaching, tattoos and other antics, but by giving his usual hardcore dancehall style some hip-hop and pop flavor here, he makes his music even more accessible. The best tracks are singles ("Go Go Wine" and "Yuh Love"), but other notable cuts include "Push It In," "Mi Remember" and the hip-hop inspired "My Crew."
