Warren Bernhardt

Warren Bernhardt was one of Bill Evans' first piano disciples. He brought a more mainstream, Oscar Peterson-like sense of swing to outfits led by Gerry Mulligan and George Benson prior to leading his own groups. Besides his own straight jazz trios, he worked in the upscale Fusion group Steps Ahead with Michael Brecker and Eddie Gomez.
