This is some landmark awesomeness. During production for 1975's Dreaming My Dreams, one of the great American albums of the last 50 years, Jennings went down to Texas and recorded a handful of gigs. His band, the Waylors, were at the top of their game at the time. Every night they rocked like a million boulders tumbling down a mountainside. Jennings wanted to release a double album but had to settle for the 11-track Waylon Live -- until 2003, that is. Jennings might be gone, but he finally got his wish: an expanded edition of the original album containing 42 tracks. And all of it is hard-core country-rock.
