We The Kings
by We The Kings
Released: Oct 2007
The Florida quartet's self-titled debut almost blatantly follows in the footsteps of power-pop forerunners Fall Out Boy. Using a similar style of sing-along choruses and teeny-bopper beats, We the Kings don't stray far from F.O.B.'s formulaic emo. But what the debut release lacks in creativity, it makes up for in infectious choruses on tracks like "Check Yes Juliet" and "Skyway Avenue."
