Wu-Block by Wu-Block
Released: Nov 2012
Label: eOne Music
It's no crime to call this collaboration an exercise in meat-and-potatoes street rap. Ghostface Killah from Wu-Tang Clan and Sheek Louch from D-Block (with assists from members of both crews) are at their thuggiest on self-explanatory titles like "Crack Spot Stories," "Guns for Life," "Bust Shots" and "Cocaine Central." Nearly every track has the same bang-bang Rotten Apple sound, save for the ghetto lament "Drivin' Round," with its Erykah Badu vocal and Heatwave quiet storm sample. You may have trouble remembering these songs when they're over, but they're fun while they last.
