Released: Sep 1978
As the story goes, this album was originally called Tor, but when Rick Wakeman saw the intended cover art he hated it so much he threw a tomato at it. That explains both the splatter mark on the cover and the album's title. An uncharacteristically thin sound contributed to the wide disdain for the album when it surfaced in 1978. Still, "Don't Kill the Whale" almost sounds like something off Sly's Fresh. Almost.
