Yo Majesty is not for the faint of the heart. The hipster-hyped, hypersexual, electro-crunk-punk lesbian duo from the land of Uncle Luke, rapper Shunda K. and hardy singer Jwl B., finally makes its full-length debut with an all-fours-on-the-floor banger reminiscent of Santogold, Kid Sister and Missy Elliott. On "Never Be Afraid," Yo Majesty repeat the title phrase a la Dorothy and click their ruby sneakers to take you to a land where their unabashed eccentricity rules: from the melodic ("Night Riders"), to the lamenting ("Buy Love"), to the strip club ("Don't Let Go," "Booty Klap") and beyond.
