Dejenme Llorar kicks off with a classic bilingual exchange between Perez and her "father" Don Cheto in which they mock-fight about the boyfriend she's not supposed to have. However despite Perez's slightly rebellious urban attitude, this is in fact a very traditional banda album -- except for her banda cover of "You'll Lose a Good Thing" which, incredibly, works.
