The Rehab (Edited)
Young Buck
Released:
Sep 2010
Label:
Real Talk Ent.
You can excuse Young Buck for using The Rehab to declare, "This is going to be my year!" The Nashville rapper finally extricated himself from G-Unit Records after a years-long battle with label boss 50 Cent that severely damaged his career. With its grimy yet unremarkable boasts and threats, The Rehab isn't much of a comeback. But Young Buck's upbeat and infectious delivery of stock fare like "When the Rain Stops" and "Smoke Our Life Away" makes this "street album" more enjoyable than it deserves to be.
