Nitti's production on "It's Going Down" is a marvel in hip-hop minimalism. At its core is a clipped synth that loops so fast it's more hypnotic than bombastic. Beneath that, the drums are so restrained that they frequently drop out all together. The "Black Donald Trump" hangs out at the mall, drinks Patron and has a gift for saying a lot of words without really rapping about anything. He handled his business as a member of last year's southern super group Boyz N' Da Hood, but here he sounds like T.I. except without the charisma.
