Zen Tricksters

With lead singer Jeff Mattson demonstrating a clear vision and a strong vocal presence, the Tricksters are a classic Jam Rock group with a bluesy undertone. They play both originals and covers (mostly of the Grateful Dead) and they have worked with Phil Lesh's Phil and Friends. It is not surprising that the group has adapted to life on the road; with an estimated 200 gigs a year, the group has played virtually everywhere. One spot that they called "home" is the Wetlands Preserve in NYC, where they spent many years as the club's staple act.
