Ashley Parker Angel

O-Town alumnus Ashley Parker Angel uses the events of his somewhat public upbringing (he's appeared on at least two reality TV shows) as fodder for strong pop songs that, while rooted in the boy band sound he came up with in 2000, feature great big guitars and lots of distortion. "I'm Better" even sounds like a Nirvana song, if you really listen to it. It's all in the hooks. Angel's music is pop rock for sure, but it does rock. And with these hooks, listening twice is not that hard to do.
