Axel Krygier

Echale Semilla actually came into the world as background music: after the demise of his rock band La Portuaria, Krygier began composing music for film and dance performances, and those recordings morphed into this album. Remarkably low-key for such a splashy debut, Echale Semilla features folkloric singers, flamenco, downtempo, found sound and much more, but Krygier's never glib with his many influences, instead weaving them into a textured fabric that's as listenable as it is experimental.
