Baby Mammoth

About

Baby Mammoth comes from an era of Acid Jazz-influenced Trip-Hop acts who emerged in the mid-1990s. Along side acts such as Fila Brazillia, these artists were the pioneers of downtempo. After meeting Pork label-head Dave Brennand, the prolific Mark Blissendan and Andrew Burdall released 10,000 Years Beneath the Street in 1996 and went on to record six more albums in five years. First hitting the European electronica scene as a soothing remedy for hardcore club-goers, Pork's chillout style has gained an international interest among the more blunted of rock, jazz, and hip-hop afficionados.
