Barenaked Ladies

While not a true greatest-hits collection, the Barenaked Ladies' seventh album is a collector's dream, including almost every single these clownish pop geniuses ever recorded during that 10-year window. Whimsical, irreverent and certainly addictive -- from the adrenalinized ska of "One Week" to their folkish "Be My Yoko Ono" to a haunted and haunting version of Bruce Cockburn's "Lovers in a Dangerous Time" -- they are at their best when they drop some of the comedy act. Also included are two tracks recorded for the set: "It's Only Me (The Wizard of Magicland)" and "Thanks That Was Fun."
