Bayside

The follow-up to 2007's The Walking Wounded, a glum tribute to late drummer John "Beatz" Holohan, Surrender is a refreshingly upbeat album for Bayside. While their past recordings have leaned more toward the dark side, here they've replaced guitar shredding solos with high-pitched harmonies and big, sunny power chords in songs like "The Ghost of St. Valentine" and "Boy."
