Ben Folds

Though Supersunnyspeedgraphic might hold little interest for obsessive Ben Folds zealots, the collection is a welcome single-disc volume that ties together previously released material from EPs and soundtracks with a handful of heretofore unreleased covers. Though Folds did some remastering and tweaking when compiling the record, Supersunny... doesn't have the cohesive feel of the singer-songwriter's proper studio records. But that's all right: his spin on tunes by the Cure, the Darkness and Dr. Dre demonstrate his typically amiable approach.
