Electro-house mastermind Benny Benassi's second album,
Rock'N'Rave, aims straight for the dancefloor. Continuing from 2003's
Hypnotica, Benassi's grinding, synth-heavy loops and tech-house percussion serve as a bed for more vocodered vocals. Standout tracks include "Who's Your Daddy?" and an electro reproduction of the Black Box classic "Everybody Everybody." Benassi even takes on Iggy Pop with a new version of "Electro Sixteen." The Benassi sound has taken electro house to an all new level: simple, loud and tough.
