Rhapsody

One of hard bop's greatest swallows his jazz pride on this famed lounge platter celebrating mod-era commercial jingles. This may well be a career low for Golsen, but fans of 1960s kitsch will eat it up (some credit goes to the far-out cover art). Like The Brady Bunch, the record's questionable taste doesn't hurt its appeal one bit.
