Bethany Dillon

Though this LP collects a fairly common set of hymns, Beth Dillon and Matt Hammitt (singer of Sanctus Real) make them sparkle through excellent modern arrangements and the fresh production of John Mark Painter. Selections include the "The Power of the Cross," "On the Third Day," and "Jesus Is Lord," though the most savvy treatment might have been saved for "Joy Has Dawned."
