Rhapsody

This is a very comprehensive collection of the earliest recordings by one of the blues' most unique progenitors. McTell's darkly witty lyrics, hipster vocal delivery and choice of subject matter (he started out gambling and found the Lord at the end, like a smart guy) remain hallmarks of early blues recordings. Blind Willie McTell's devotion to vice never gets old.
