2014 Grammy Winners
Who would have guessed that one of the most exciting performances at this year's Grammys would involve Imagine Dragons -- who earlier had won Best Rock Performance for "Radioactive" -- backing Kendrick Lamar, who was nominated for six awards but came home with none? Or that Taylor Swift would lose Best Country Album to Kacey Musgraves' Same Trailer Different Park and Album of the Year to Daft Punk's Random Access Memories ? Elsewhere in the show's three-and-a-half-hour broadcast, Beyoncé and Jay Z opened with a charged performance of "Drunk in Love"; a few dozen couples got married while Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Mary Lambert and Madonna performed in the background; Blake Shelton sang classics with Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson; and P!nk swung from the ceiling before dueting with fun.'s Nate Ruess. Here, however, we're celebrating strictly the award winners, a class that includes everyone from Bruno Mars and his eclectic pop to Tye Tribbett and his contemporary gospel.
