Aventura's Family Tree

by Rachel Devitt  |  March 14, 2012

All boy bands have the potential to expand into a vast, sprawling network of solo acts, one-offs and collaborations, of course. That's just the nature of packing so much talent -- and so many cute mugs -- under one name. But Aventura, an immensely popular Urban Latin group uniting cousins (Romeo and Henry Santos) and brothers (Lenny and Max), were always particularly poised to grow a strong family tree out of their little bachata project. Add to that the fact that the Santos family employed some pretty talented backup singers (Toby Love, anyone?), and you've got a serious system of branches and roots in place. Finally, like all good boy bands, Aventura were never opposed to a solid collaboration, an ethos that has survived in solo projects like Romeo Santos' earth-shattering ascension to superstardom. Thus, we present Aventura's Family Tree, a playlist of the group's best tracks and collaborations, their favorite collaborators' hot cuts, and their own solo material. Start climbing!
