With the recent release of the group's career-spanning anthology, 2002-2013, the post-grunge badasses in Seether -- Shaun Morgan, Dale Stewart and John Humphrey -- have seized control of this installment of Rhapsody's Celebrity Picks series. Not surprisingly, their playlist is packed with modern rock jams that unleash copious amounts of brooding intensity and snarling riffage, like Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name," Breaking Benjamin's "Shallow Bay," Alice In Chains' "Dam That River" and P.J. Harvey's lurching "To Bring You My Love." But the South African trio also spotlights a fair amount of introspective balladry. Considering Seether is the band that gave us "Broken," this shouldn't come as any surprise. Still, it's cool to see them flash their tender side by lacing their playlist with Ray Lamontagne's "Trouble" and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds' achingly moody "Into My Arms." And hey, how cool is it that Seether dig the Neil Young chestnut "The Needle and the Damage Done"? Thanks, guys!
