CMA Nominees 2013

The votes are in, and the nominees are out: At the 2013 CMA Awards (hosted again by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood), no artist will be up for awards in more categories than Taylor Swift, who this year was nominated for six of the show's 12 awards, everything from Musical Event to Entertainer of the Year. A bigger surprise? Newcomer Kacey Musgraves is close behind with six nominations in five categories, most notably Album and Song of the Year, where, as writer, she's up for both Miranda Lambert's "Mama's Broken Heart" and her own "Merry Go 'Round." The show doesn't go down until November 6, so that gives you some time to catch up on all the country music of the past year. Don't wait.
