George Strait's Country Empire

Thirty-two years after releasing his debut, Strait Country, George Strait has more greatest hits compilations (10, if you're counting) than most artists do albums and more No. 1 singles (this time, 59) than some artists do songs. Those hits, meanwhile, traverse all styles and perspectives, narrating love and loneliness in everything from the Texas honky-tonk of "Ace in the Hole" to the guitar-driven pop country of "Living and Living Well." As he releases his 28th studio album, Love Is Everything, and "Give It All We Got Tonight" -- possibly his 60th No. 1 -- climbs the chart, we've compiled the King of Country's all-time best, adding another (unofficial) greatest hits to Strait's tally.
