Hats Off to Nashville Star!

For six seasons, the television show Nashville Star exposed an adoring public to some of the best unsigned country singers trying to make it in Nashville and beyond. Through the years, the show made names out of Chris Young (who won in 2006), Whitney Duncan and Kacey Musgraves (both in 2007) and Miranda Lambert, who took third place in the show's 2003 debut year. Of course a plethora of performers got signed and subsequently dropped, but such is the nature of the music business. Hit play and discover some of the artists who got a leg up thanks to Nashville Star.
