Hot Dance Tracks, March 2014
by Philip Sherburne | March 17, 2014
One of the biggest songs of the past year finally comes to Rhapsody: the Cedric Gervais remix of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness," which has spent 32 weeks on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, rising as high as No. 2. Avicii, who currently has four songs in the same chart's top 25, returns with a Diplo remix of "You Make Me" -- a swaggering, trapped-out mix that ensures that the towheaded Swede will be getting play on even the toughest stages this festival season.
Speaking of Diplo, he also turns up via Major Lazer's "Aerosol Can," featuring Mr. "Happy" himself, Pharrell Williams. Afrojack remixes Tiësto's "Red Lights," Hook N Sling tackle Empire of the Sun's "Celebrate," and W&W come stomping back with "Bigfoot." Check out all of those and more, including new songs from Above & Beyond, Hardwell and Duke Dumont.
