Hot Rap Singles, January 2014

by Mosi Reeves  |  January 16, 2014

Our first collection of rap singles for the new year actually consists of late-breaking cuts from 2013. Many of you may already be familiar with Rick Ross' "The Devil Is a Lie." It's the latest teaser from Ross' forthcoming Mastermind, which is due March 14. Future continues to prepare us for his second album, Honest, with "Real and True." Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip's "Thank You" promoted the Abstract and the Dragon mixtape, which hit the Internet in December. A$AP Mob's "Trillmatic" precedes the crew's March 4 album, Lord. Schoolboy Q's "Man of the Year" lays groundwork for his February 25 album, Oxymoron. Ice Cube promotes the May 13 release of Everythang's Corrupt with "Sasquatch." There's also new material from Sage the Gemini and Raekwon, and don't sleep on Snow Tha Product's "Play." She's an emcee that you'll be hearing a lot more about this year.
