Hottt Dance Trax, June 2013

by Philip Sherburne  |  June 10, 2013

Who knew that the future of EDM lay with none other than Walt Disney? First Daft Punk scored Tron: Legacy, and now Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso turn up with "Roar," a bouncy, funk-infused banger for the Monsters University soundtrack (which, coincidentally, sounds an awful lot like Daft Punk). Not everything in our roundup of big-tent dance music is quite so kid-friendly, of course, with Ferry Corsten's "F the Bull$h1t" and Tommy Trash's "Blair B*tch Project," but between Hardwell's remix of Krewella's "Alive" and David Guetta's remix of Empire of the Sun's new single of the same name, there are plenty of life-affirming beats to bring out the inner kid in ravers of all ages.
