Kid Cudi Cameos: 2010-2013

It's been two and a half years since Kid Cudi's gold-certified Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, but the wait for a new solo album has felt twice as long as usual. The enigmatic Scott Mescudi carefully picks his collaborators, and as a result, he doesn't loom as pervasively in rap culture these days as, say, Lil Wayne or Kendrick Lamar. But he cuts a unique figure, as this assortment of cameos released between Mr. Rager and his new Indicud proves. It includes singles from last year's WZRD side project with producer Dot Da Genius; songs recorded for the Fright Night and Hunger Games soundtracks; cameos with mentor Kanye West; spots for homies like The Knux, Chip Tha Ripper, Wale, Steve Aoki and Travis Barker; and oddball, didn't-see-that-coming appearances for Kreayshawn and Dia Frampton.
