Latin Summer Hits 2013
by Judy Cantor-Navas | July 1, 2013
We know, you're tired of hearing the word "caliente" to describe Latin music. But this is the season when hits really go with hot. Tropical rhythms always feel like summer, and the most popular songs this season include salsa, reggaeton, bachata and vallenato from Marc Anthony, Carlos Vives, Yandel (of Wisin & Yandel) and Toby Love, among others. Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas supply this summer's novelty song ("Ula Ula"), while artists including Grupo Treo and One43 provide more of the light sounds we like to sing and dance to when temperatures rise. Though many of these songs are sure to fade from the charts by the time fall comes, they will forever sound like the summer of 2013.
