New Release Sampler, 1/28/14

Looking for some new music? Try indie pop quartet Dum Dum Girls' Too True, a dark, garage-rock take on '60s girl groups with an '80s twist. We can't help but notice how much "Are You Ok?" sounds like classic Pretenders -- high praise, indeed! We also have Eve, the new album from Afropop queen Angélique Kidjo, and Croz, a laid-back offering from David Crosby that harkens back to his CSN days, especially on "Set That Baggage Down." We also have new albums from contemporary Christian band Casting Crowns and Olympian Shaun White's group, Bad Things, plus new singles from country boy Easton Corbin, the original grumpster Morrissey, and Latin star Romeo Santos.
