New Release Sampler, 2/18/14
by Linda Ryan | February 22, 2014
It's another banner week for music, as we welcome new albums from artists like dancehall sensation Sean Paul and blissed-out electro-pop duo Phantogram. Sean Paul's energetic Full Frequency will get you up and moving, from the electro-pop of "Other Side of Love" to the big EDM beats of "Turn It Up." Meanwhile, Phantogram's sophomore effort, Voices, is a dark yet airy collection of songs that vibrate to thick, pulsating beats; "Black Out Days" is as close to a sing-along as this twosome gets. We've also got alt country rocker Lydia Loveless' Somewhere Else; country guy Cole Swindell's self-titled debut album; scrappy mall punks We Are the In Crowd's sophomore release, Weird Kids; and new singles from Empire of the Sun, My Chemical Romance, Needtobreathe and more. Enjoy!
