This radio station is dedicated to hip-hop hits, of course, but the title's a bit deceiving. It includes the monster smashes that crack R&B and rap radio, from Ludacris' "My Chick Bad" and Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow" to Jay-Z & Kanye West's "N***as in Paris." But it also includes some classics you may never hear on the radio, like Trae's "Inkredible" and French Montana's "Choppa Choppa Down." Sometimes minor and regional hits that never broke out, and other times better known for inspiring blog posts than Billboard-chart action, these cuts are the conversation-starters in the rap world, and their influence outstrips their iTunes sales. We've also got a little bit of old school, especially the stuff that still bangs, like A Tribe Called Quest's "Scenario." This ain't no history lesson, though: It's a trip through the styles and sounds of the hip-hop mainstream.
