Rhapsody Radar 2013: Week 4
Welcome to Rhapsody Radar, our annual month-long series dedicated to helping you discover a wide array of fresh new artists we've come to love. After much deliberation, the Rhapsody editorial team has trimmed down our list to two dozen up-and-comers, artists that are quickly gaining steam among the indie, rap, pop, country and electronic elite. In our final week, we explore the emo-pop/rap amalgam of Twenty One Pilots; the twanging country jams of family affair The Henningsens; the rich, eccentric retro soul of Kendra Morris; the moody, supple, trip-hop-inspired sounds of London Grammar; the candid, confident R&B of K. Michelle; and the pop-leaning turntablism of French quartet C2C. We've got playlists and exclusive videos as well, including an intimate studio session with Kendra Morris, who does an incredible cover of Bettye LaVette's ["Cry Me a River."] Sample each of these artists in the appended playlist, and dig into the entire month of Rhapsody Radar coverage here.
