Songwriter Spotlight: Bob DiPiero

by Nick Murray  |  July 24, 2013

As a songwriter, Bob DiPiero has penned hits for everyone from The Oak Ridge Boys ("American Made," a No. 1 way back in 1983) to Easton Corbin, whose "Lovin' You Is Fun" hit the top 10 late last year. He has been inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Nashville Walk of Fame, and his tunes have -- per BMI's count -- enjoyed some 17 million radio spins over the years. These days, however, he might be best known as a performer and host, traveling the country behind his "Songwriter Series" concerts, bringing important Nashville talents and an increased awareness of his profession wherever he travels. This playlist collects DiPiero's best tunes -- country hits that span multiple eras and subgenres.
