It may have been 18 years since he won his last Male Vocalist of the Year award, but Vince Gill is aging as well as any country singer of his generation: He's making his regular Opry appearances, producing tunes for up-and-comers like Brandy Clark and Ashley Monroe, and even collecting the stray Grammy, as he did for 2007's four-disc set These Days. It all begins in the 1970s with the Pure Prairie League and continues up to the present day.
