It only figures that one of the world's biggest dance-music festivals would take place in a town called Boom. That's the site of Belgium's Tomorrowland, which will celebrate its ninth edition this July 26-28. Tomorrowland offers an eye-opening cross section of electronic-music culture, representing not just the usual stadium-fillers (Tiësto, Avicii, David Guetta, Sebastian Ingrosso, Hardwell) but also a broad swath of more underground styles; this year finds Dixon, Ben Klock, Todd Terje and Ricardo Villalobos alongside trance heavyweights like Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz. And for hardstyle fans, Q-Dance's dedicated stage serves as the ground zero of hard dance.
This fall, festival promoters ID&T will bring the boom-boom of Boom to the United States for the first time with Tomorrowworld, a three-day shindig to be held September 27-29 in Georgia's Chattahoochee Hills. Get a taste of the event with our sampler of Tomorrowland's 2013 lineup.
