Top 10 Christian Albums, September 2012

by Wendy Lee Nentwig  |  September 25, 2012

It seems like feast or famine when it comes to new Christian releases. Thankfully, the end of summer provided a veritable bounty of new music. Okay, enough with the food analogies. Just know there are a lot of tasty sonic treats awaiting you. (Oops! There I go again.)

So, what should you listen to first? Try the most talked-about releases. Lecrae and TobyMac are making waves in hip-hop and beyond, setting records and getting noticed outside their usual genres, while storytellers Matthew West and Mark Schultz are back with ballads aplenty, and Chris August has more talent than should be allowed. Luminate, Remedy Drive and Tenth Avenue North deliver some delicious pop rock, while Owl City forms an unholy alliance with Carly Rae Jepsen. Derek Webb continues to innovate, reminding us why we fell in love with him in the first place.
