With so much of hip-hop culture inspired by pain and struggle, it would seem that the roughest, toughest season of them all might inspire dozens of raps. But eliminate the usual metaphorical plays on being too "cold" or "icy," and we're not left with much. Still, this playlist ably delves into the bleakest months of the year, from Lupe Fiasco's "Cold War" to Lecrae's "Cold World." As usual, the mighty Wu-Tang Clan paint a picture of urban strife like no other, whether it's GZA's "Cold World" or Raekwon's "Cold Outside." So "Bundle Up," as the Cool Kids say. Here's to surviving another winter.
